Saturday, December 5th, the Klickitat County Republican Party held it’s bi-annual reorganization meeting in Wishram selecting officers and voting on bylaws for the next 2 years. Lisa Evans, Precinct Committee Officer (PCO) from Husum was elected Chair; Peter Leon, PCO from Wishram and the previous Chair was elected Vice-Chair; Matthew Langdon, PCO from Mountain Brook was elected State Committeeman; Susan Kelsey from Centerville and prior PCO from Goldendale was elected State Committeewoman; Grant Cheney, PCO from White Salmon was appointed Secretary. Not present was Shane Cagle, PCO from Dallesport who was appointed Treasurer. These Officers will represent Klickitat County Republicans at the state level in addition to managing the events and issues of concern to Republican voters in the county.

As the new Chair, Lisa Evans commented “I am super excited to work with this team. We look forward to reaching out to the many Republicans who have serious questions about the national election. I have had the privilege to speak to many voters over the last several weeks about their concerns ranging from religious liberties to gun rights to vaccines, and they are undoubtedly driven and energized.”
In addition to the required business, the Washington State Republican Party Eagle Volunteer Program recognized four Klickitat County women as Eagle Volunteers. These ladies represent the very best Republican Party Volunteers in Washington because of their many years of long service to and leadership in the Klickitat County Republican Party.
