Now, a bit of bad news:

A court decided to re-draw the Legislative boundaries. Klickitat County has been hugely impacted.

In short, this ruling has impacted over 300,000 voters in the state of WA, including many of us in Klickitat County. We are currently in the 14th Legislative District represented by Senator Curtis King, and Representatives Gina Mosbrucker and Chris Corry. As of April 24th, our county will be split into 2 Districts:

LD 14 Precincts: Alder Creek, Alderdale, Centerville, Columbus, East Klickitat, East Lyle, High Prairie, Lyle, north Dalles, Roosevelt, West Klickitat, Wishram, and Woodland

LD17 Precincts: Appleton, Bingen, Fruit Vally, Glenwood, Goldendale 1,2, and3, Husum, Mountain Brook, North Fruit Vally, north White Salmon, Orchard height, Pine Forest, River, Trout Lake and White Salmon.

This also means that Rep. Gina Mosbrucker is no longer in the 14th and would have to run in the 17th, Chris Corry is running in the 15th, and Senator Curtis King would also have to run in the 15th.

The current Representatives in the 17th are Paul Harris and Kevin Waters.

As of April 24th, there will be NO representation for us in the 14th. We will have to watch for new candidates and elect new representation in November.

DEADLINE IS THIS FRIDAY FOR THE "WE THE PEOPLE" CONTEST

If you have students in grades 4-12, this is an excellent opportunity for them to show us their talents. Using the theme, "WE THE PEOPLE," a student can write, draw, photograph, or create something that inspires them. There is no wrong answer; we will not "cancel" or censor any submissions. :)

Please return submissions to info@klickitatcountyrepublicans.org or call me at 509.774.0987.

We display the creations at our Lincoln Day Dinner. So great to see the minds of our students at work.

Do you have a gas stove? Do you like using natural gas? Do you want to be forced to convert to electrical?

Important message from Let's Go WA.

The liberal elites in Olympia have launched a full-scale assault on our economy and way of life by working to ban natural gas.

As you may have heard, radical progressives in the state legislature are pushing forward with a reckless ban on natural gas that would devastate Washington's energy sector and drive up costs for hardworking families across the state. But we cannot stand idly by and let this happen.

Here's the deal: natural gas isn't just about heating our homes or cooking our meals. It's about affordable energy that powers our economy and provides jobs for thousands of Washingtonians. It's about energy independence and security. And it's about preserving our freedom to choose the energy sources that work best for us.

But radical progressives in Olympia don't care about any of that. They're more interested in pushing their radical agenda, regardless of the consequences for ordinary Americans like you and me.

So, I'm asking you to take a stand. Call Governor Inslee's office right now at 360-902-4111 and let him know that you oppose the radical natural gas ban. Flood his inbox with emails. Spread the word on social media. We need to make it crystal clear that the people of Washington will not stand for this assault on our way of life.

Time is of the essence, my friends. They are moving fast, and we need to move faster. Our future depends on it.

Thank you,

Kelly P.
