Elephants "Fight! Fight! Fight!"

A millimeter. A microsecond. That is all the difference it made on Saturday between the life and death of a Presidential candidate. There is little that I can state at this point that the news and social media channels have not already stated. There are many questions  that I hope will be answered in the next few days for the health of our nation, including the question: is this the best we can do? As to the how's and why's this could happen, this question can produce infinite discussion. When applied to the Republican Presidential Candidate Donald Trump, the answer is a simple and resounding "YES!" For a man (or woman) in the midst of the stresses of federally motivated lawfare to stand after being grazed by an assassin's bullet, to stop the actions of multiple Secret Service agents so that he could look at the crowd and acknowledge THE PEOPLE, this is the true sign of a leader. This cannot be scripted or planned, an emotional response in the time of crisis is genuine and reveals the true nature of a human being. Ballots will be arriving for the Primary in August and the General election in November. A millimeter. A microsecond. A vote. They all make a difference.

Ballots will be arriving soon for the Primary. Due to the re-districting, over half of Klickitat County voters have been moved out of Legislative District 14 (LD 14) and into LD 17. What this means is that depending on how the lines were drawn, your ballot may look different than your neighbor's ballot.

How do I know what LD I am in? You may have received a notice in the mail from the Auditor's office notifying you of the change.

If not, or if you are unsure, please check this link: https://voter.votewa.gov/portal2023/login.aspx

You will logon with your name and birthdate. Once logged in, look for the tabs at the top of the page. Click on the "Your Voter Registration" tab, and you will be directed to a page with your voter information. If you scroll all the way to the bottom of the page, that is where you will find your voter information including your Congressional District and your LD.

Do not hesitate to reach out to info@klickitatcountyrepublicans.org with questions. YOUR VOTE MATTERS.

Speaking of voting...how do you know who to vote for? How do you educate your friends and your neighbors?
Great questions!
Join us to knock on doors this weekend.
The idea of door-knocking can cause one's heart rate to rise, but I promise you that the experience of connecting with the voters is fulfilling (and it helps us beat the Dems!).

Saturday, July 20th, 10-noon, Rheingarten Park, White Salmon with Lisa Evans
Saturday, July 20th, 1:30-3:30 pm, 606 E Simcoe Drive with Shane Cagle
Sunday, July 21st, 3:00-4:30 pm, High Prairie Community Center with Sharon Aleckson
SEE YOU THERE!

Primary Ballots are being mailed this week. They must be returned by August 5th to be counted. DO NOT FORGET.

Please return your ballot via the County drop boxes or directly to the Auditor's office. Mailing them is an option, but it is the least secure option.

Vote right away. Some people wait until the last day and often then forget or need to respond to other life interruptions.

WE NEED YOUR VOTE. DO NOT DELAY.

For more information on election integrity, the RNC has partnered with Donald Trump to address voter fraud. Check out https://protectthevote.com for more information.

The next KCR meeting is August 13th at 6 pm at the Dallesport Community Center.

Guest speaker: Luke Throop

He will be telling us about his experience at the Republican National Convention

Also, this meeting will be immediately post-primary. We will be looking at the results and strategizing for the General Election.
